Olimpia entered the series with its defense

Olimpia’s defense entered the semifinal series, so Milano could win 78-65 and tie the series at 1. Game 3 in scheduled to be played in Venezia on Monday night. Olimpia dominated the game in the first half, expanded the lead to 24 early in the third quarter, then struggled all of a sudden for a series of circumnstances, including a flagrant foul called on Macvan, Rakim Sanders fouling out and Venezia ragaining rhytm offensively. Reyer was capable to have  28-point third quarter, like in game 1, nd in the fourth reduced the margin to seven. Olimpia responded and didn’t allowa Venezia to become dangerous. “It was for 25 minutes a marvelous game, we approached it like we should always do. It was extremely good – coach Repesa said – then I didn’t like a concentration letdown that let Venezia coming back. There was a little too muche nervousness that we need to eliminate”. There were two flagrant fouls, one thechnical, Sanders basically couldn’t to play after the first quarter when he had a fantastic start.
